The Guru holds supreme importance in a disciple’s life, for without the Guru, realization of God is not possible. In today’s busy and problem-filled life, the Guru alone imparts precise guidance on the correct spiritual practice, bringing peace of mind and Anand (bliss). Through this knowledge, the disciple learns the true nature of the Guru — His paternal love, compassion, and the various means by which He bestows grace. Strengthened by this understanding, devotion towards the Guru deepens, enabling the disciple to draw maximum benefit from His divine presence.
