Hanuman Jayanti

Rangolis that attractand emit Hanuman tattva (Principle)

Rangoli is considered a sacred art form in Sanatan Dharma, believed to invite divine vibrations and purify the surroundings. When created with sattvik (pure and spiritually uplifting) designs, rangolis can attract and emit subtle principles of deities. To invoke the divine energy of Shri Hanuman, devotees draw special rangolis that radiate the Hanuman tattva (principle), especially during Hanuman Jayanti and before His worship.

Hanuman Jayanti

Hanuman Jayanti is celebrated as the birth anniversary of Shri Hanuman, the epitome of devotion, strength, and service. Different regions and panchangs (Hindu lunar calendars) mention varying dates for His birth. According to some traditions, Hanuman Jayanti falls on Ashvin Krushna Paksha Chaturdashi, which is the fourteenth day of the dark fortnight in the month of Ashvin. However, in many other traditions, it is celebrated on Chaitra Pournima, the full moon day of the month of Chaitra.
